Welcome to Grandma's Origami!
This video provides a slow, audio-enhanced explanation of how to make an origami "Celebration Crane" (Kotobuki Tsuru).
This is a very gorgeous and festive crane with the tail of the crane spreading out like a folding screen. The basic crane and the tail are folded separately and combined, making it easy to fold.
This crane is recommended for New Year's and Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Day celebrations, for entertaining, and for everyday small decorations.
It is also recommended if you are bored with ordinary origami cranes and would like to fold a slightly different arrangement of cranes.
