We’re back with our Land Rover Discovery 4 "Prince Charming," and it’s time for the big reunion: engine meets chassis! But before the royal wedding could happen, we had some serious rust repairs to handle on the frame — nothing a bit of elbow grease, rust converter, and primer couldn’t fix.
Then came the main event: lifting the freshly assembled SDV6 engine and carefully lowering it into the chassis. It’s always a nerve-racking moment, especially when there’s only millimeters of wiggle room and a whole lot of parts waiting to be reunited.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an LR Time project without a few surprises. We tackled rusty brake lines (yes, more rust), replaced oil in the front and rear differentials, transmission, and transfer case — because if we’re doing it, we’re doing it right.
But not everything went smoothly. Between stubborn bolts, awkward pipe angles, and a few marital “disagreements,” this episode had its fair share of drama. Still, we pushed through, tools in hand and coffee on standby.
👉 Watch till the end for laughs, struggles, and satisfying progress!
