It's been a busy few weeks settling back into normality after Christmas and we've finally had chance to look at the best selling sewing patterns of 2022 so we thought we'd share them with you. Kind of a Top of the Pops of sewing patterns working backwards to the most popular, or number one, at the end of the video so stay tuned for that. There are a nice mix of sewing patterns to choose from - some cosy and easy coat and jacket patterns perfect for the wintry weather we're currently experiencing, some practical and causal day wear patterns, a super easy sew with only one main pattern piece perfect for warmer months and especially holidays and some great shirt and blouse patterns to take you through all of the seasons. There are also a good mix of independent pattern companies and the big four commercial patterns including Style Arc, Grainline Studios and Simplicity. I've also picked out dressmaking fabrics you could sew them up in and have linked everything below including coating fabrics, some lovely Sevenberry prints and plains, a Dashwood design and some other pretty prints.
I've actually sewn some of the patterns myself, but now I've seen the others I definitely want to give some of those a go! As always everything is linked below and I'd love to hear your thoughts and which patterns you would like to try.
