I was looking through our videos and noticed several mentions of Christianity. That gave me pause, especially as we are coming into the Easter season. Christianity most definitely contributed to our trauma and continues to contribute to abuse the world over. It's not something that I want to recommend, as most of its forms would reject the LGBTQIA+ communities and be hateful toward people of other religious beliefs. I think it's wildly unsafe for people with dissociative disorders, and many Christians would not include me in their definition of a believer. Nevertheless, I find myself still believing the Apostle's Creed, still praying, believing in a God of love, and that comes out in my videos from time to time. I made this video as something of a disclaimer about all that.
