CWs: Blood/violence, body horror
It's been a decade since Prince Alaric's coming of age. With their sister missing, and the rest of their family murdered by their own hand, they've taken up the position of king, while keeping the title of "prince" -- to pay respects to their parents, or so they say. Alaric's political power brings them no comfort, though. His plan failed, his curse grows stronger every day, and he's feverishly researching alongside his alchemsists in order to find a cure. He falls into a monotony of research, kingly duties, and keeping up appearances... until Amric arrives. The young man's sudden and unrelenting devotion comes as a welcome surprise, and he might just be the tool that Alaric needs to unlock a cure.

This took a little under a year of hard work and honestly, I never thought I'd be able to finish something this long and labor intensive, but I'm SO glad I did :] I'm incredibly proud of myself.
