I normally don’t ride weekends because of the higher amounts of traffic, but made a quick decision after a couple coffees this morning to just get out for a ride.
A little bit of a chilly start, anything that was groomed, was hard as a rock, so scratchers down to start the day.
With no real ride plan in place, I decided to just head north, of course. Made it up to Skinners Bluff as I haven’t been up there in years, then started making my way back south.
Excellent 524km day overall, I think I only saw between 50-75 sleds all day and trails were very nice almost everywhere I went. There were definitely a few bumpy sections in the afternoon, but nothing terrible.
Sometimes, getting out for a ride by yourself are some of the best rides to be had.
