Released in 1998 Outlaw Star was a sci-fi adventure show with a cast of memorable characters and a timeless aesthetic. While its contemporaries like Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are remembered as all-time greats, Outlaw Star lives on as a cult classic in the shadow of the best sci-fi anime of the 90's. It's time for Outlaw Star to step into the limelight and take the mantle of classic sci fi show that we all know it deserves.
