Come outline an example book with me. In this video, I invite you to outline a book with me using the plot grid method, which is how I outline my books.
Outlining a book can be daunting, so I’m going to start by coming up with a random idea, sketching it out on the whiteboard, and end by creating a plot grid of the book to give you some ideas for ways you can approach your outline.
The plot grid, or series grid, is how JK Rowling said she outlined the Harry Potter books. For more information on plot grids, watch my video “How to Outline a Book Using a Plot Grid” or read the excellent blog post I linked down below.
