You know, when you write a song once, and don’t have the urge to remaster the lyrics, it’s kinda hard writing it again
Well, kinda is an understatement
Man, writing this sucked
I had fun at the start, but towards the end, I was grasping at straws
I had to scrap Pico as well since
1.) Bella was the one who wrote Pico in the collection’s Overdue, I have no idea how to do this
2.) I cannot write player characters for the life of me (been improving at BF, but still)
I tried to edit it like usual, but I think you can tell that 1/3 of the way through I realised thatI didn’t really need to try (if I did, I would never reach the end of this special), so I went easier with this one
At least it came out well enough that I can consider it better than 2 out of the other 5 videos of the special
I’m considering making a compilation of the whole thing when it’s done (32 songs damn), but we’ll see I guess

Friday Night Funkin' (stylized as FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN' and often abbreviated to FNF) is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s
The game mainly revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of characters in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. The gameplay revolves around hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.
The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam in October 2020. A full version backed on Kickstarter titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game is under development.
Mario[f] is a character created by the Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. He is the title character of the Mariofranchise and the mascot of the Japanese video game company Nintendo. Friday Night Funkin': Mario's Madness is a mod directed by Marco Antonio. The mod is centered around Super Horror Mario, a demonic version of the original Mario, from the rather well-known artwork by Devianart. Included within the mod are many fan-created versions of official Nintendo content from the Super Mario Bros. franchise.
The mod had been in development for almost 2 years.
Luigi (Japanese: ルイージ) /luˈiːdʒi/ is a fictional character featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as an Italian plumber and the younger fraternal twin brother and sidekick of Mario. Defined by his kind-hearted, yet cowardly demeanor, Luigi appears in many games throughout the Mario franchise, oftentimes accompanying his brother.
Boyfriend is the protagonist of Friday Night Funkin' and main player character of Mario's Madness, facing against a bunch of versions of Mario and other Nintendo characters after playing a cursed cartridge alongside Girlfriend, not knowing what kind of chaos laid ahead of them both, and what mysteries begin to uncover back.
