The life of an overlanding vehicle is a hard one. There is a lot of pressure for these vehicles to perform in the toughest conditions, and get us back home safe. And although I’ve never been left stranded in my vehicle, it has had some pretty frustrating gremlins after the last 40,000km of pretty heavy overlanding across Southern Africa’s most rugged destinations. I didn’t build this vehicle to keep it shiny and new, I built this vehicle to take it out there and have some incredible adventures and see a world that so few get to experience. In that my Toyota Hilux has delivered 150%!
