In April, 2000, I traveled to San Diego for a railfan excursion at the San Diego Railroad Museum now known as the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum. The facility is located about 50 miles east of downtown San Diego in Campo and uses former San Diego and Arizona Eastern trackage. The excursion was comprised of two segments with the morning trip behind SP #2353, a 1912 Baldwin 4-6-0. In the afternoon we rode behind SP #3873, a GP9 in the classic black widow paint scheme. The video features several run-bys showing the steamer pulling passenger coaches in the morning and several freight cars in the afternoon.
