On the final night of the deadline for NC State players to enter, the Wolfpack lost four starting defensive backs in a span of two hours. Starting corner Brandon Cisse, starting nickel Tamarcus Cooley and two starting safeties in Devan Boykin and Bishop Fitzgerald all entered the portal, leaving the cupboard bare in the defensive backfield.
