First, the plaintiff sold porcelain sinks and hired the defendant to ship them. The plaintiff said both sinks arrived broken and the defendant refuses to repay, so he’s suing for the cost of the sinks. The defendant argues the plaintiff’s son refused to buy insurance when he was shipping, so he does not think he owes anything.

Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendants to repair the ceilings in her house, but it took 35 days and they did a terrible job. She’s suing for lost rent and a refund. The defendants say they’ve been friends with the plaintiff for years and they regret mixing business with pleasure. They deny owing anything.
