Welcome to our first painting project in our new home! 🏠 We recently purchased this house in July, and this video captures the process of painting the main level, including the Foyer, living room, kitchen, pantry, and morning room.
Here’s how we did it:
1️⃣ Prepping the walls with wall putty and sanding.
2️⃣ Covering floors and using painter's tape to protect areas.
3️⃣ Removing light fixtures and switch covers for a clean finish.
4️⃣ Painting the ceiling with Snowbound flat paint.
5️⃣ Priming dark walls to transition to light shades.
6️⃣ Using Snowbound satin for walls and Snowbound semi-gloss for doors and trims.
We skipped priming on light-colored walls, making the process smoother, and efficient.
