In his first statement following the Jaffar Express hijacking, Hakeem Baloch, a focal person of the Baloch National Movement's (BNM) Foreign Committee, warned that continued Pakistani military actions in Balochistan would inevitably face resistance, emphasizing that true peace would only come when Pakistan ends its occupation and Balochistan gains full independence. He said “ We all strongly believe that Baloch has right to live with dignity peace and freedom and if the Pakistani force continue their brutality there will be resistance so the end to this genocidal policy of Pakistani state the occupation of Pakistan ends for once and all when the Pakistani state leaves Balochistan, when the Balochistan became free country…”. ► Subscribe to The Economic Times for the latest video updates.
