Pakoda receipe in tamil 😋 | Pakoda seivathu eppadi | Cauliflower Pakoda in tamil | Tea kadai kitchen
The fritter known as pakoda is native to the Indian subcontinent. In South Asia, they are served in restaurants and sold by street vendors. It is made up of ingredients, usually vegetables like potatoes and onions, that are deep-fried after being covered in a spiced gramme flour batter.
Although gramme flour or a combination of gramme flour and rice flour are most frequently used to make the batter, other flours, like buckwheat flour, can be used in variations. The cook has the freedom to choose the spices for the batter, taking into account regional customs and availability. Common choices include dried and fresh coriander, fenugreek, and chilli powder. Gramme flour fritters are called Pakoda or bajji in Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka, Bhajia in Gujarat, Bhaji in Maharashtra, and Bajji or "Pakodi" in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and Karnataka.
