Continuing our series of film comparisons, this week we look at Ilford Pan F+. This film is a 50 ISO film with slightly different spectral response to color than the others so far. Green and blues are rendered slightly lighter than red. As I saw with other Ilford film, the overall contrast is identical to Kodak, but the midtones are separated just slightly more in Kodak, giving a false impression of greater contrast.

All films for this series were shot at box speed under controlled lighting, processed in D-76 stock for the manufacturer’s published times, and printed at the same time and contrast to an 11x14 print size from a 35mm negative.
