Pan pastels are one of the most luxurious, artist grade soft pastel on the market. With their intelligent color system and vibrant color options, they are a joy to color with. However, they are on the pricey end of art supplies; require special tools to use; and have a bit of a learning curve–so they may not be one of the best coloring tools for beginners. But once you get used to them they are an amazing and fun art medium to use.
