A simple recipe for Pandan Cotton Huat Kueh (Fa Gao), no fermentation required, soft and sweet, all blooming!
▶️ Ingredients 材料:
160ml Water 清水
2 pcs Pandan leaves 班兰叶
110g Caster sugar 细砂糖
12ml White vinegar 白醋
15g Baking Powder 泡打粉
250g Low gluten flour 低筋面粉
50g Wheat starch 澄面粉
35g Corn oil 玉米油
* Making Pandan juice
Mix 2 pandan leaves with 160ml of water, stir, then filter to obtain 160ml of pandan juice.
*制作班兰汁
2片 班兰叶 加 160毫升清水 搅打后过滤取160毫升班兰汁。

190ml Milk 牛奶
90g Sugar 糖
2g Salt 盐
30g Cooking oil 食油
1 tsp Vanilla extract 香草精
200g Rice flour 粘米粉
6g Baking powder 泡打粉
Red colouring 红色素
