There is something very empowering about making your own pantry mixes and dairy products for sure! Today we are sharing more Pantry mixes and diy dairy today. Plus we are working on our long term food storage bit by bit. As always, I am sharing all of my recipes for everyone to try. Chai multipurpose spice mix 1 cup powder milk 1cup sugar 2 tsp allspice 2 tsp ground cloves 4 tsp ground cinnamon 2 tsp ginger 2 tsp nutmeg 2 tsp cardamom Mix 2 tsp (or more if desired) in 8 oz hot tea Aujus mix 4 tbsp powder beef bouillon or 12 cubes 4 tsp onion powder 4 tsp Parsley 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp garlic powder 4 tbsp corn starch Blend in blender until smooth to use add 4 1/2 tsp mix to 2 cups water simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until desired 4 1/2 tsp equals 1 packet of aujus mix from store Chai Banana muffins 2 ripe bananas 2 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup avocado oil 1/3 cup white sugar 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup milk 1 large egg 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 3/4 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup chai mix mix wet ingredients well first, then add the dry to the mix. mix for 30 seconds just until well combined then scoop into 12 muffin cups cook at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes cool then enjoy! Easy chai icing 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tbsp milk 2 tsp chai mix mix and drizzle over or dunk muffins into Chai muffin mix in a jar 1 3/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup chai mix 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup white sugar mix all ingredients together follow instructions for chai banana muffin mix above Chai cinnamon rolls 1 1/3 cup warm water 2 tsps yeast 2 tsps honey or brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp salt 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour Filling 1/3 cup chai mix 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup softened butter mix then knead for 5 to 6 minutes until no longer sticky let rise for 1 hour punch down and roll out to desired thickness. mix filling and spread evenly on dough, roll the dough, then cut into desired pieces, place on a large greased cast iron or large baking dish and let rise for an hour or until doubled in size. bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. let cool and enjoy! top them with your favorite icing Sour cream 3 cups of heavy whipping cream around about 3/4 cup of cultured sour cream heat in double boiler until you reach around 85 degrees put lid on wrap in towel and let sit in a warm area(around 80 to 100 degrees for 8 to 24 hours until desired tang. put in fridge to thicken for about 3 hours before serving.
