The entire route is approximately 25.5 kilometers, from Fujihokuroku Park to the Fifth Station of Mount Fuji. The timed portion of the race is about 24 kilometers. The course is fully managed by traffic control, and the completion rate is extremely high (over 98%). Every year, commemorative bands of various colors are awarded based on completion times: platinum (within 60 minutes), gold (within 65 minutes), silver (within 75 minutes), bronze (within 90 minutes), blue (for all male finishers), and pink (for all female finishers).
