Join House Mother Jocelyn Milan of the House of Milan, and some very special guests, including RR Chanel, Alyssa Ebony, and Luna Khan, for a dynamic discussion on the history of Ballroom culture in New York City. Panelists will be showing clips they’ve selected from Jennie Livingston’s 1990 documentary film, Paris Is Burning, and discussing the role that ballroom houses play in the upbringing of marginalized queer youth through the formation of chosen families.
