Parking Sensors NOT WORKING... TRY THIS 1ST
To know which sensor doesn't work, insert the key into ignition and switch to position 2 an put the car into reverse (without the engine running). step out of the car and go to the parking sensors and touch each one individually and see which one is "sparkling" less than the other ones. You may have 1 or 2 or who knows maybe all (in which case you either have a wiring problem because you can't know which sensor is bad or they're all bad and need replacing). Its good to take them out from time to time (twice a year would be perfect) and clean with WD-40 or any other spray which doesn't leave residues
For more information on WD-40 go to https://wd40.co.uk/
Also see below a check list.
Check for Obstructions: Make sure there are no dirt, snow, or debris covering the sensors. Clean them gently with a soft cloth.
Inspect the Wiring: Look for any visible damage to the wiring or connectors associated with the parking sensors, especially if you've been working on or around that area of your vehicle.
Test the System: Start your vehicle and perform a test. Put it in reverse (if applicable) and see if you hear the sensors activating or see any lights indicating they are functioning.
Check the Fuse: Consult your owner’s manual for the location of the fuse for the parking sensors and check if it has blown. If it is, replace it.
Look for Error Messages: If your vehicle has a display screen, check for any error messages related to the parking sensors.
Consult the Manual: Refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual for specific troubleshooting steps related to your model
