Thus the base of the anvil and washer need to have a total height of 7mm. You can achieve these 7mm by going for an anvil with a 5mm base height and a 2mm washer or by going for an anvil with a 6mm base height and a washer with a 1mm height. Please be aware all anvils used in this video have a hole at the bottom that has a diameter equal to 8mm, which is the same size as the original. I would reccomend you go for an idea that is as close as possible to the original. That means an anvil that either comes with a 5mm base height or is ground down to a 5mm base height. You keep the original washer and then in that you place a plastic washer to suit your anvil. All links are provided above. These are some of your options: 1. Anvil with a 16mm shaft which comes with a base height of 6mm. You remove 1mm off the base so it is equal to the original at 5mm. You use the original metal washer and the plastic washer (28x16x2mm) from the links provided above. You also need a new bushing, in this case 16x24x15. Again link provided above. 2. Anvil with a 16mm shaft which comes with a base height of 6mm. You leave it at a 6mm base height and get a washer that has a 1mm height - link provided above. You also need a new bushing, in this case 16x24x15. Again link provided above. 3. As used in the video, the rare 18mm shaft anvil with 8mm hole at the bottom and a base height of 5mm. You use the original metal washer and the plastic washer (28x18x2mm) from the links provided above. You also need a new bushing, in this case 18x24x15. Again link provided above.
