Part 1 | Make a sewing kit from a glasses case | new easy slow stitch project #slowstitching

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Sharing a fun and easy slow stitching project idea to upcycle an old glasses case into a slow storch style sewing kit. #slowstitching #slowstitch In this video I am using gorgeous faux patchwork feed sack inspired fabric from Momson that I purchased from @Sewbecurated but I also share ideas for how you can use doilies or scraps of fabric in its place. #scrapfabric #scrapideas I show how you can play with the patchwork effect by padding the fabric and stitching into it with simple running stitch. I then show how I use fabric glue to attach to stitched piece to the glasses case and how I measure the batting and fabric for the base piece of the glasses case. In future episodes I will show how I add the lining, embellishments and make a miniature needle book and miniature Victorian style pin cushion to go inside my sewing kit.
