In this episode we run you through everything to look and inspect when buying a Jayco or any wind up camper trailer. We walk through the roof, body, chassis and mechanicals, wheels and suspension, canvas, interior and everything in between to help you out and provide a detailed guide for anyone new to these campers.
It may look a bit scary or daunting however trust us, these are all fairly minor things to observe in the scheme of things however they should assist in identifying what has been looked after and maintained versus a potential problem purchase, so you can get out and enjoy what these are great for - camping! Using our 2013 model Swan Outback, this can apply to many other models including the Eagle, Flamingo, Hawk, Dove, Penguin, Lark, Swift and the like.
These are a fantastic upgrade for those transitioning from tents, soft floor campers and other basic setups. They have plenty of room inside, are extremely quick and efficient to setup and pack down and have many of the amenities you need to create those great memories while exploring this beautiful country.
