इसलिए, इस व्याख्यान का बल इस स्मरणोत्सव के उद्देश्य के पीछे परस्पर विरोधी विचारों का पता लगाना है। साथ ही इस व्याख्यान का उद्देश्य विभाजन और उसके प्रभाव की एक विस्तृत तस्वीर प्रस्तुत करते हुए इसके इतिहास को गहराई से समझने और विभाजन की राजनीति का भी पता लगाना है।

⛳️The objective of this lecture is to make a critical assessment of Partition of India in the light of the 'Partition Horrors Remembrance Day' which the government has recently declared to observe on 14th August every year.
Therefore, the basic emphasis of this lecture is to explore the conflicting views behind the objective of this commemoration. Then in order to have a larger picture of partition and it's impact we need to delve deep into the course of history and to explore high politics of Partition as well.
