Patagonia 2025 Argentina Drone Footage of Landscapes, Fly Fishing, Wildfires

In January 2025, I spent some time in the Chubut region on Argentina fly fishing for big brown and rainbow trout. I split my time between two different lodges and two different programs.

I used 6 weight rods (the Sage R8 was particularly great) with a lot of different flies and streamers (mostly dry flies) and a ton of different water searching for beautiful browns and rainbows.

This video is a selection of drone footage I filmed with the @DJI Air 3S which handled the wind easily and was able to fly about 6000 feet away from me and about 380 feet high. I edited everything together with the amazing @DAVINCIRESOLVESTUDIO from @BlackmagicDesignOfficial. I was lucky enough to capture some nice footage of the lodges, a few fly casts and catches, and some smoky scenes from a wildfire that started during my visit.
