We planned this trip last spring and though its only 100 miles, the rural landscape of the route made it a fun challenge. There are only a few places to charge along this route, so we had plan ahead and be very aware of our range.
I want to give a huge shout out to our team on this ride! Kane and Lance kept the vibes up throughout the whole ride. Mike and Douglas helped film quite a bit of the footage with me. Grace met us out at the coast with some extra supplies and was there in case anything went wrong. She also helped us by taking some of our heavy gear back for us, including our blown out charges. And last but not least, Rev Rides supported the trip by sending us with spare parts and tools, and pitching in on the lodging and EV charging costs! We are always incredibly grateful for the community support from Rev Rides.
Making this trip happen was an awesome adventure, and it took me quite a while to get though all the footage and edit this into a video. I know its a bit long, but I wanted to tell a continuous story. Feel free to jump around though, I've added in chapters to break it up into watchable sections without having to create multiple parts.
Its the longest video I've ever made, and definitely was a huge undertaking to process and edit. I hope that you enjoy it and that I can make more long form videos like this in the future!
