Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Today, I'm all about stopping the leak that has been bothering me since the last oil change. I thought the tech at the dealer overtightened the cap as that is a common issue and will create a crack in the housing where the oil filter sits. However, my leak is that like that. It's deeper down. Apparently these fail very frequently but as of this video there has not been a recall on that plastic housing yet. Dorman to the rescue. They just released the upgraded Aluminum Engine Oil Filter Housing with Oil Cooler and Filter. A 2 hour project took me 6. I wish there was a video I could reference too... Here is my journey. Below find a list to everything you will need if you don't already have it. Now, it's been asked a few times and I originally didn't include the info because if you got your part from a reputable place it would have come with the torque specs on the oil cooler. There are OEM (in plastic) and Dormans (in metal). Here is a link to a Wrangler Forum where there are screenshots of the instructions with pictures. I would follow the instructions that come with your cooler but here is one from another user who did a step by step writeup of his OEM cooler replacement: https://wranglerjkforum.net/threads/3-6l-oil-filter-oil-cooler-adaptor-housing-replacement.26638/ And keep in mind, get a quality part or this one is just practice.
