For Spanish learners, deciding when to use the imperfect vs. preterite past tenses can be confusing. It's often made more confusing by efforts to memorize dozens of situations and conjugations.

So in this video, you'll get an introduction to the concept of Preterite vs Imperfect — enough grammar to get you started. Then through lots of exposure to Spanish, you'll start building an intuition for when to use each tense.
