Our polycarbonate sheets are lightweight, provide good insulation values and are so much easier to install than glass. Solarium glass is very heavy and difficult to install, in fact long lengths must be broken up with "purlins" which can leak. If you are using laminated glass it can be prone to cracking during installation or from the subtle shifting of the foundation. Polycarbonate sheets are many times stronger than glass, acrylic or even modified acrylic. Our multi-wall sheets are a great way to cover your pergola or metal framework... they are not hot like glass, they filter 99% of the harmful UV, and they provide an even light throughout your patio without the glare of glass roofs.
