Fifth try at making a 12v alternator into a Permanent Magnet Alternator.
This time I kept the larger DIY rotor but added another set of 6 magnet poles (N-S). Now the rotor has 2 sets of 6 poles. I am hoping for twice as much power as my last attempt. The stator has 3 sets of 6 coils but I cannot fit
3 sets of 6 magnet poles on the rotor as my magnets are too wide for that.
