千葉県鴨川市成川地区。長狭平野の山沿いのなだらかな丘陵地帯の生活道路を原付二種で巡ってみました。
今年は稲刈りの後も暑い日が続いたためか，二番穂(切株からまた伸びる稲)がかなり伸びて「穭田(ひつじだ）」となり，それが枯れて黄金色がきれいです。
嫌われ者の外来種，セイタカアワダチソウの黄色い花も，すっかり日本の秋の風景に溶け込んだ気がします。
帰り道，サルの群れに遭遇しました。
