This time I made a Platz Peugeot 306 MAXI. I bought this kit at the same time as the Lexus LFA I made last time. This is a long-established model shop run by an owner who is an expert on car models. They had a great stock.
The 306 MAXI is my favorite rally car, and I've always wanted to make this kit. It was a famous car driven by Francois Delecourt and Gilles Panizzi. However, I was so hung up on finishing it with decals that it ended up being a pretty rough finish, which is a shame. If I have the chance, I'd like to finish it with paint.
The kit itself is difficult to build, and if you don't do a proper mock-assembly, the windows and exterior will look ugly. I hope this reaches modelers who are looking to enjoy this kit.
