( After making their way through the MEMORIUM, they make their way to an old stage, the silence is suddenly broken by the sound of old, rusted gears, grinding, the starry curtains tug themselves open, a single spotlight flickers on, focused on Flowery, he faces forwards to the audience, all the chairs are empty. )
Flowery:
* HELLO, FRIENDS! IT'S BEEN SO, SO LONG... HASN'T IT?
* I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN!
Susie:
* ... I don't think-
( Susie is cut off, an uproar of cheers and laughter booms from the audience around the stage, startling Susie and Ralsei. )
Susie:
* Wh... Kris, what's going on? Why did you take us here?
Flowery:
* WHY, TO PLAY OF COURSE! JUST LIKE OLD TIMES!
* AREN'T YOU EXCITED, KRIS?
* ... WHAT'S WITH THAT LOOK? DO...
* Do you not want to play anymore..?
( Kris takes a few steps backwards, slowly. )
Ralsei (Whispering):
* ( Kris, I told you we shouldn't have come here! )
* ( This is no place for a Lightner. Quickly, we must leave and get back to sealing the fountain-
Flowery:

( They all pause, a desperate look on Flowery's face. )
* No... Please, don't go.
* Don't pack me away already. It's so dark in there.

( The three of them back away, a vine creeps out from the floorboards, snagging Kris's foot, preventing them from leaving. )
* Please, Kris...
* Can't we play just one more time? For old time's sake?
Susie:
* ... Hey man, we don't want any trouble. Just-
Ralsei:
* I hate to be blunt, sir. But we're going to need you to let go, and we will be on our way.
Flowery:
* ... Let go?
( Flowery laughs, as does the audience. )

( The vine violently tugs Kris back to the center of the stage, lying on the floor, the children all cheer, he steps forward towards them. )

( Susie launches a Rude Buster at Flowery, knocking him back, petals falling off of his head. )
* ...
Susie:

Flowery:
* So, those are the kinds of games you kids play nowadays... huh?

( The sound of gears once more, lights above the audience flash on, revealing the amorphous, stirring shadows of dozens of children in the audience, giggling to themselves as the show begins. )
