Before we take the challenge, let's review what an interval is. An interval is the distance between two notes on the staff or on the piano keys.
To measure an interval, we count starting from the first note. In the video, we go from the first note to the second note. So this interval would be a second, and it's the same for the staff.
Notice that when we're playing the piano interval of a second we're going from a line to a space note. When it's a third, we'll always go from a line to a line, or it's also possible to go from a space to a space to be the interval of a third.
