Cetatea Dacica Piatra Detunata (150 i.H) este situata in jud. Brasov la iesirea din defileul Oltului din Muntii Persani (Racos-Augustin).Cetatea face parte dintr-un ansamblu de 3 cetati dispuse pe cele doua maluri ale Oltului: Piatra Detunata, Tipia Ormenisului si Tipia Racosului. Cetatea este asezata pe un pinten de stanca cu inaltimea de 150m. Zidul cetatii urmareste un contur circular iar cladirile din interior sunt aranjate radial. Intreaga asezare este atestata inca din secolul V-lea inainte de Hristos ca un puternic centru dacic de aparare a zonei la intrare in defileul Oltului.
The Dacian fortress Piatra Detunata (150 BC) is located in Brasov county at the exit from the Olt gorge in the Persian Mountains (Racos-Augustin).
The fortress is part of a group of 3 fortresses located on the two banks of the Olt river: Piatra Detunata, Tipia Ormenisului and Tipia Racosului. The fortress is located on a rock spur with a height of 150m. The citadel wall follows a circular outline and the buildings inside are arranged radially. The entire settlement is attested since the 5th century before Christ as a strong Dacian defense center of the area at the entrance to the Olt gorge.
