This is the whole show from the first night I went to see Pino Palladino, Chris Dave, and Isaiah Sharkey at the Blue Note in NYC. I didn't doctor the audio, so it is what it is. I have the second night with the good audio posted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZG7rSNEoEw&t=2589s
this is the type of show that alters the way you hear music forever. if you allow yourself to hear what's happening and get over the novelty of it all (no easy task). It is absolutely vital for a musician to see live music.
Gear: Chris played a bit of a different setup its always changing but what looked like a vintage Ludwig kick 2 snares, the slap, a splash, his towers of power, a trach hat, a triggered pad, two-floor toms just completely tuned down, one with a calfskin head, 2 horribly beaten rides, a tambourine, and a midi/ triggered kick that he used on the track clear view feat Anderson .Paak. I wish I knew more details about his kit but unfortunately, I don't yet.
Pino played a custom shop Pino Palladino p bass recently signed by someone… into an Aguilar ag700 bass head and 2 by 12 matching cab he has been using modern amps recently. He had a decked-out pedalboard
