This is the last part of our 16 part Southern Luzon Bicol Region Joyride series. We have reach Irosin and now heading towards Matnog. To complete our series, we decided to check Matnog port. The roads here if you can notice are wide and very nice. There are some portions with on going road widening as of this documentation.
One of the best provincial roads i have driven in the entire Philippines, wide roads, good paved roads. There are markings on the road for fast cars -right and slow cars to left which is very good but markings were a little small. I hope this applies to all the national roads in the Philippines, great job who ever thought about this. It was a so far a 13 hour drive or less... I once did a video from Bulan to Matnog so there are similarities in the video as this is the official Matnog video for my joyride collection. We reach Matnog around dusk. There is a surprise at the end of the video :-)
Matnog is the southernmost part of Luzon mainland. km 646 is the last part of Asian Highways 26. Afterwards there are ferries or Roll In Roll Out going to the Visayas region. It is a busy port town.
