Using planters after harvest, we will decompose food waste using the old soil with lots of roots as it is.
Moisture control is important for fermentation and decomposition of food waste (^_^)v
If the moisture content is too high, it will rot and fail. Unlike bucket composting, planters have holes in the bottom, so there may be fewer failures due to overwatering.
Best of all, you can try composting straight out of the planter you were growing in.
Since we will be experimenting with food waste decomposition, we will observe food waste decomposition without making it finer, although the finer it is, the faster it will decompose.
