Howdy folks, keep in mind while my son Jason is filming. This take him away from plastering as he does indeed apply as much if not more than yours truly.
He did in fact apply the exact same texture as I did here.
Plus Lou, knows how to mix hot mud, thats stucco with the right amount of accelerator, called Luminite so that we can apply two coats back to back.
This is teamwork or harmony at it's best.
This job got me to thinking about old news when I was working with an old plastering friend of mine, I share it as it amazing stuff.
MY son Jason and i I are laying down two coats of stucco and giving the walls an adobe texture.
Were using regular Portland stucco mixed with I part stucco to every 3 parts sand.
We added Lumnite as an accelerator as each bags cost a whopping 90 bucks, Sure we spend a ton of extra cash on this accelerator, however we do save on the setting up twice so its a wash for us.
