In this video we are going to plug into the GR-55, GM-800, and the SY-1000 at the same time and control everything using one guitar. We will be able to turn on and off each synth using any combination. In addition to that we are going to add the GT-1000 and the GT 800 to the list.
We are also going to cover the CTL function. We can get as many as 12 control functions from the GT-1000. We can get 10 control functions from the SY-1000. If we use the GK3 Pickup with the GM800 we can get up to 8 control functions with it. We are going to cover a few clever ways to use the CTL function.
This video took a while to make. I conducted several experiments to find the best way to hook all this gear together so it can be controlled using only one guitar. So follow along with these experiments and you will also see how to avoid troubleshooting and what does not work.
