പതിറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി ഇസ്‌ലാം വിമർശന രംഗത്ത് സജീവമായി നിൽക്കുകയും, കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ഇസ്‌ലാം വിമർശകർക്കെല്ലാം ആശ്രയിക്കാവുന്ന ഒരു resource person ആയി വർത്തിച്ച ഒരു വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്നു പി. എം അയ്യൂബ് മൌലവി. മുസ്ലിംകളോട് സംവാദങ്ങളിലും ഖണ്ഡനങ്ങളിലും ഏർപ്പെട്ട് , യുക്തിവാദ പ്രചാരണ രംഗത്ത് നിറഞ്ഞു നിന്ന അദ്ദേഹം പിന്നീട് താൻ പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യങ്ങളെ പുന:പരിശോധന നടത്തുകയും ഏറെ കാലത്തെ അന്വേഷണങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം ഇസ്‌ലാമിലേക് കടന്നു വരികയും ചെയ്തു.
PM Ayyoob Moulavi was an active critic of Islam for decades and served as a reliable resource person for all major critics of Islam in Kerala. Engaging in debates and refutations with Muslims, he was full of rationalist propaganda, later he re-examined what he had said and after a long period of research, he came to Islam.
EA Jabbar (ഇ. എ ജബ്ബാർ മാഷ്) പോലുള്ള ഇസ്‌ലാം വിമർശകരുടെ ബൌദ്ധിക സ്രോതസ്സായി വർത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന അയൂബ് മൌലവി , ഇന്ന് അത്തരക്കാരെ ആശയപരമായി വെല്ലുവിളിക്കുകയാണ്!
