For today’s tutorial I’ll show you how to make a Sutton Slice. I’ll show the basic two color type and how to make one using a skinner blend. If you’re new to this technique I’d start with the basic two color as it’s easiest. The skinner blend requires a bit more patience and skill with the tissue blade.
The Sutton Slice was invented by Lisa Pavelka and is a wonderful technique to use in multiple projects from domed pendants to decorating boxes. It’s super fun once you get the hang of it and looks great.
