Pomegranate Growing Tips:
Sun: Full sun
Winter Protection: None, cold hardy to zone 8
Root System: Deep roots.
Growth Structure: It's a bush, unless you prune it otherwise.
Pollination: Self-fertile
Flowering/Fruiting: It flowers in the spring, fruits ripen by fall.
Watering: Shallow water first summer in ground. Deep water when older.
In containers, use our 50% rule. No water in the winter once it goes to sleep.
Fertilization: Anything works :).
Container Growing: Ok for short term. If keeping it long term, you will need to root prune or up-pot.
