Pork Chops, Potatoes, Cabbage, and Sausage

One pot dinner. Easy and delicious. Brown pork chops in oil and butter. Cut up potatoes in 2 inch pieces. Add to pot on top of chops. Do not stir. Add small amount of liquid. I used water. You could use chicken or vegetable stock if you want. When potatoes are fork tender, add chopped cabbage on top of potatoes. Again, do not stir. Slice onion, scatter on top of cabbage. Cut up smoked sausage and lay on top of cabbage and onions. Season each layer as you go with salt and pepper. Cover pot between each addition to allow the vegetables and chops to steam.
