Click this for our honest Porsche Boxster Spyder review featuring a spirited drive through the country and always with lots of real facts and content. We feel like enthusiasts have forgotten about the "normal" Spyder in favor of the Spyder RS. Which let's face it, is a better track car. Frankly, it is a superior car in almost every way. But, where that car suffers on the street, the "normal" 718 Spyder wins. It's in its useability and grand touring nature, while still being a freak in the sheets. The bottom line, the Porsche 718 Spyder has truly useable power, and it just makes for one amazing street car. As you can see in this review, we ran it out once and yeah you're going fast, but it's nothing crazy, especially these days. We were so excited to get the opportunity to review the new 718 Porsche Boxster Spyder. Coming in at a $125,530 MSRP (pre-covid mine you!) too this one just had all the right goodies and looks. I will say, I loved the spec on this 718 Spyder. We don't know WHAT it is about Gentian Blue but this color is straight fire in person. And I don't even usually like blue cars! But with the Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB's), full interior leather Alcantara interior, with the 18-way sport seats, it just all comes together and we won't lie, got a little weak at the knees. Everyone who saw this car had to take a double look and do a walk around. The 718 Porsche Spyder in Gentian Blue literally color changes as you walk around the car in the sun. Now let's talk about the 718 Porsche Spyder performance. After all, this is a sports car and performance matters. The 2020 718 Porsche Spyder has a 4.0 flat-six naturally aspirated engine making they say 414 hp and 309 foot-pounds of torque. This propels the 718 Spyder to 60 in 4.2 seconds, and let me tell you the sounds this engine makes are orgasmic to a petrolhead. Just watch this 718 Porsche Spyder review, and listen to that engine scream rolling through what may just be the best 6-speed transmission on the market today. I will say though, the 718 Porsche Spyder does NOT sound as good as the previous 981 Generation, mostly due to the gas particulate filters they install. Anyway, I could go on here about the 2020 Porsche 718 Spyder, but we would sure appreciate if you just watched it and gave us your thoughts below. We are eternally grateful that we get to make these reviews for you guys. Thanks for watching, please drop a like and a comment, and subscribe for more content. We are leaving for Montana for a bike trip. I'm working up to bring you guys a lot of content and documenting the trip.
