Porsche enthusiasts get a rare tour into how a new model is designed with designer Grant Larson. The 997 variant of the 911 was available in North America from 2005-2012. Grant Larson was the Porsche Designer in charge of this project, and he does a deep dive into the details of how this pivotal model evolved before entering production, in front of a live audience at Porsche Parade 2024. You’ll see photos and drawings that have rarely been seen and hear stories about the design process at Porsche as well as features that never made it to the production model.
