I’m finally going to build my pour-in-place concrete countertops and seating for our BBQ and fireplace. It’s been a long journey; but it's time to get this done. I will be building my own custom forms to make the pour in place countertops. I have two countertops to build, one around the BBQ and one around the fireplace for seating. This was a fun and challenging project, and the countertops look fantastic.
Tools and items needed: Concrete Countertop mix, Concrete dye, a cement mixer, a ¾" Melamine panel, some plastic trim, a tape measure, a screw gun drill driver, a Table or Miter saw, a hammer, a Brad Nailer, wood glue, a magnesium trowel, concrete finishing trowels, a hand sander, diamond sanding pads, some buckets, some builders paper, gloves and your personal safely gear.
